About Us
During lockdown open only to attend an appointment for a medical reason. This can include the investigation of any symptoms or for reassurance regarding your pregnancy.

We are not currently offering any 4D scans. Instead, we are offering a Fetal Health Scan. This is a medical scan designed to allow us to check the wellbeing of you and your baby. You will be provided with a full medical report as normal. Any scans that have been booked that include 4D imaging will now be (automatically) changed to our Fetal Health Scan only (https://windowtothewomb.co.uk/fetal-health-scan/) and the price will be changed accordingly.
• Our firstScan Early Pregnancy scans are unaffected and are being offered as normal at www.baby-scan.co.uk
• You should only attend scans for a medical need, such as to check how your baby is developing. If your sole motivation is to find out the sex of your baby, you should not attend a scan.
• In order to protect our patients and clinic staff please attend the clinic on your own. Only if necessary, please bring one other adult companion to your appointment.
• RCOG COVID-19 guidance suggests that there are marginally higher risks associated with exposure to COVID-19 for 3rd trimester pregnancies (after 28 weeks).
• Our staff are using protective face masks and gloves for their and your protection. We will offer disposable gloves to you in the clinic.
Window to the Womb and firstScan are working with several NHS trusts to support core obstetric ultrasound services. We cannot take direct bookings for NHS scans as this is on a hospital by hospital basis and would need to be booked directly by them. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
